A couple days ago I blogged about the first battle in the War on Christmas. Apparently exposing the War on Christmas has upset some people on the left. While checking my links in the TTLB Ecosystem, I found a couple left-wing moonbat bloggers who decided to attack me. While I'm always in the mood to answer my critics, one of these commie-loving liberals decided to get personal.
The first blogger was actually somewhat funny...
I'm equally pleased to report several feebleminded casualties of the first strike, including Darleen Rube, purported law professor Ann Althouse, and Spotty the Wonder Teen. Perhaps these chuckleheads are worried that their White Christmases will be a bit too swarthy if they're forced to use a Hanukkuah or Kwanzaa stamp to post their holiday hatemail. Or maybe they're just morons.
Being called the Spotty the Wonder Teen didn't really bother me. In fact, I was somewhat pleased to see that the other side was threatened by us exposing the truth about the War on Christmas. I followed another link though and just got insulted. I still think it's a good thing that the left feels they need to assault me, but this commie-loving, ACLU-worshipping, whacko was just plain offensive.
The story which got poor Roger's dander floating up into the air conditioning vents was the plaintive wailing of Darlene over a story (sourced by no less an august source than her mom) that the Post Office would issue new holiday stamps this year. They allegedly went with a "Holiday Cookies" theme instead of pictures of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus. This not only enraged Roger, saddened Darlene's Mom (soon to be named the new managing editor of Knight Ridder, I believe), and sent Darlene scurrying for her keyboard, but got Ann
CoulterAlthouse into a tizzy and sent theHitlerBush Youth bustling off to strap on their jackboots and take to the streets.
Come on. Don't you think you could show a little more maturity than calling me a Hitler Youth? If not more maturity, at least a little more wit. Comparing conservatives to fascists is a tradition of the radical left, even though Hitler himself took over the country by implementing socialism (hence him being a member of the National Socialist German Worker's Party). The pathetic left has begun a war, and I fire back.

As soon as either side
As soon as either side invokes "Nazi", they've lost the argument. All doing something like that shows is 1) they're projecting, and 2) they've run out of sensible arguments.
#1 is pretty obvious. The jack-booted thugs they always refer to bear a striking resemblance to the "peace protests" when every one of the moonbats and their moonbat theories ("War for Oil!" ...that one is so stupid it's comical!) comes out of hiding.
Another thing you can look at is how they want to shut down the conservative authors/radio commentators/television people. Sounds like censorship to me, but they think that's OK. More projecting.
My current favorite tactic of theirs, and one that congressional Democrats seem to be trying, but are getting called on, is "keep lying the same lie". They seem to think that if they keep saying "Bush altered the intelligence" enough, people will believe it. Fortunately, the president is pointing out all the democrats that were saying the same thing at the time.
They've been doing this with the economy too; "The economy is bad...the economy is bad!". Well, it's a at 4.5 year high right now, and retailors are saying the current Christmas season sales are doing great.
You know, this must be the tactic they're using. The only other explanation is they're just stupid. As much as I'd like to believe that, I don't think they really are.
I do find it very funny that they keep calling President Bush stupid, yet at the same time they're saying this "stupid" guy is the one that pulled the wool over their eyes! Ha! That means they're even more stupid than what the president!
#2 is pretty self explanatory.
Keep up the good fight, as these people are shameless. (Just witness Moby's advice on cheating during the last election).

Great job upsetting the nut jobs over Christmas. As for reminding the hate filled Left that Hitler imposed the same political system that they espouse to hold dear, HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Dixie, if you take a look at my next post, you'll see that I explained how I looked into it, and while the USPS didn't get rid of their stamps, many Post Offices, including my own local Post Office, isn't carrying the Christmas collection.
