I'm going to be posting a series of picture updates, because I have literally over a hundred pictures I want to crop up, talk about, and share with you guys. The first set here will show you the ANSWER fools we were up against, and give you an idea of the showdown that occurred. To set the stage, there were a solid 3 hours where patriotic Americans stood across the road from ANSWER commies, pinkos, and anarchists, having a shouting match. Us Vs. Them:
The other side was absolutely ridiculous. To just give you a couple examples, the next two pictures include an interesting sign, and a code pink peace sign. They're nuts:

We gathered at the main gate to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. I arrived a little before 8 AM. When I got there this is what I saw, as did those waiting to get into the DMAFB Air Show. How do you beat the Anti-crowd? Get up......
Those signs ARE funny,
Those signs ARE funny, Justin. I just don't think we were laughing at the same ones (well, maybe the "queer" one). I find it kind of pathetic people are still making the "If you question the merits of this war, you hate the troops." argument. I know that's why I question it's merits: unbridled hatred of our troops and a love of terrorism!!!!
It's amusing to me the goofiness on both sides of this debate. To be fair, there are good arguments for continuing this war but it would appear those don't fit neatly on a sign. Oh well, I'm not sure what I expected. The anti-war folks didnt help matters with all of those anarchy signs, did they? That's too funny.
Anyway, good to see the ol' camera worked well for ya! The pics came out nice. If your mom is coming down, have her drop it off or I'll grab it later this week. Anyway, just make sure you get all of the pics off before I take it.

I drove up from charlotte NC
I drove up from charlotte NC on Fri,the 16th,met 3 great Vets from Alabama,stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Va.,yelled our support for our side for 6hrs.,made me so proud of all on the Gathering of Eagles side---I remember standing on Constitution Ave as a six yr. old boy,watching some of the troops returning from WWII,thousand of folks in full support ,with the band playing "When Johnny Comes Marching Home",yrs later serving my Country in the USN,and so sad to see the peace marchers who have no idea of how precious Freedom is.
