I was surrounded by heroes, and they were mad. They were mad that the anti-war movement was pushing for another surrender. They were mad they tried to make the wall their backdrop. They were mad that Jane Fonda supports ANSWER. They were everywhere. First up, the early crowd. This was taken real early in the morning when people just started showing up near the ANSWER route:
Next up is a picture of me and a Veteran. His sign kicks ass so I knew I had to get a picture with him. I figure I needed at least ONE picture of me to show that I was really there...
How about the new Democrat Congress? Let's just say the Vets weren't too supportive of Speaker Pelosi and her policy of terrorist appeasement, cut-and-run, and attacking our military.
And finally, for my last picture, isn't this true about ALL of our military men, from WW2, to Korea, to Vietnam, to now? I think so. I love these guys:

Amazing patriots you are!
Amazing patriots you are! Great job all who attended the Gathering of Eagles. The “Peace” protestors are the same everywhere, a rag-tag mob of people who are upset about everything from gay rights to global warming to the downfall of communism. Our side, by contrast, speaks with a strong single voice. I hope there are many, many more gatherings. I would love to attend.

I was thrilled and humbled
I was thrilled and humbled by the strength of those vets in attendance. I am grateful that the day was great (weather not withstanding) for the silent majority to be heard.
