Gathering of Eagles: Debating the Left
- Posted by Justin Higgins on March 19th, 2007 in
I just wanted to share a story from the Gathering with you all. A man was marching near the end of the ANSWER march, and he was holding a sign that called for President Bush's impeachment. As the man passed, I simply called out to him and asked him what crime the President commited to deserve impeachment.
"Um... he um... broke UN war crimes laws" the man replied, kind of confused and stuttering. He actually stopped marching and turned to face me. I informed him from the street side that he can't be impeached for that, he can only be impeached for breaking a law cited in the Constitution. The poor fellow looked confused, lowered his sign, and stopped moving on for a moment. He muttered something about the PATRIOT ACT and I told him the Supreme Court upheld that law. He seriously looked like he was ready to abandon the ANSWER march. Here's a picture of the confused man:

I hope I got the man to second-guess some of the rhetoric he's absorbed. It's a shame that the sign to the man's right (Stuck on Stupid) describes him. He has the potential to see the truth.

I know this guy!!
My kids and I counter-protest our local moonbat group every Saturday in Meadville PA. About 4 weeks ago this dude and another guys from Florida rolled into town. He is working on the "Iraq Summer" campaign for moveon.org and spends his time in Meadville and Erie. This guy really doesn't know what he's talking about and the other guy with him is very antagonistic. Anyways, I thought you would be interested in knowing that he is still "stickin it to the man".
Gathering of Eagles the Day
Gathering of Eagles the Day After...
As many of you know, I attended the Gathering of Eagles yesterday. I enjoyed the event and I think a lot came out of it. On Friday evening I met Kit and Heidi from Euphoric Reality and I was really impressed with how committed and genuine they are. ...
I wonder how much he was
I wonder how much he was paid to be there.
You did a tremendous job in the space of three or so remarks.
What's the deal with that
What's the deal with that guy's sign? Bush never said "Stay the course." He said so himself. That never happened. And if you question the president, you hate America.
