Fred Thompson, who many are speculating may join the 2008 Presidential Race on the Republican side, has begun his blogging career. He opens things up at RedState, and his first topic is a hard one. Fred Thompson is hitting Iran. Excerpt:

Maybe it's because military action won't be needed or maybe it's just because the ordeal won't drag on and on, but the world is breathing easier now. A lot of folks are happy. The problem, as I see it, is that Ahmadinejad seems to be the happiest.

Mr. Thompson is looking like a more attractive candidate every single day, but we can't forget that people like Mitt Romney have been talking tough on Iran for a while now.
