Breaking Down the Dems: Part 1
- Posted by Justin Higgins on April 27th, 2007
Following the Democrats' debate, I've decided to break down the Dems. I've been scanning various left-wing websites, and they're showing their true colors, their idiocy, and in some cases they're shooting themselves in the foot. I'm going to violate one of my cardinal rules and I'm going to link some left-wing sites. CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK! First off, breaking down Daily Kos commenters:
I love how this comment makes it look like the Democrats NEED a Gravel-type candidate to stay reasonable. To be honest, they do. With people like Kucinich and Gravel on the stage, who actually tow the party line during the debates, it makes the rhetoric-heavy "serious candidates" look sane. Next, they'll justify John "Faggot" Edwards' haircut budget:
First off, it wasn't a $150 haircut, it was a $400 haircut. Secondly, Edwards has naturally good hair, and shouldn't need to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a haircut that couldn't of taken off more than an inch around. He's running as a "working man's candidate," and thus, people look badly on his haircut decision. I for one don't care, but at least he could be consistent. Later in the thread, the Gravel-bashing continues:
Vitriol, or fierce criticism, is alive and well within the Republican party. I bash Bush for failures in immigration, Hagel for waffeling on the war, and McCain for campaign finance idiocy. Gravel spends two minutes bashing the Democrats for their hypocrisy, and liberals hate him! I disagree with Gravel more than anyone up there, but at least he's honest! And finally, to sum up the Democrat stupidity on the war:
Liberals are willing to run, hide, and put our troops in direct danger then blame it on the administration. It's Congress's responsibility to fund this war, and they're failing, period.
