Romney- Better than Paul
Justin Higgins — Sun, 2007-05-06 15:43Romney is pro-small government, and loves to veto spending measures. He also believes in us fighting our enemies as opposed to Dr. Paul who votes against hunting down the terrorists that want us dead.
Romney and Paul both did well in the debates
Cutkomp (not verified) — Sun, 2007-05-06 15:24Your argument used to discredit Dr. Paul could also be used to discredit any other candidate. Romney is purely a TV candidate as Ron Paul is purely an Internet candidate. Fact is, both guys garnered a lot of attention from the debates, it matters not where that attention is. Romney is the pro-big government warhawk, Paul is the pro-small government Constitutionalist. Both types have their following.
I disagree
Matt A. (not verified) — Sat, 2007-05-05 11:42The Strong showing by Romney in the debate will go a long way (if not all the way) in finally laying to rest the RINO label some have attached to him. Even if Thompson does declare, you have then have two likeable Conservatives in the race. Romney is more experienced, Thompson is a little more well known (though not for politics). At best, unless Romney drops out if/after Thompson answers, the best the can happen is that Thompson splits the vote.
Fred

I predict
Anonymous — Thu, 2007-05-03 22:03that Fred Dalton Thompson will declare, and when he does tonights debate will be considered just so much hot air....
