The Democrats' Big Problems

The Democrats have four problems that should make their current possible candidates (Obama, Clinton, and Edwards) totally unelectable next year.
(1) All the major Democratic candidates attended a function (or debate) hosted by the anti-Semitic and anti-Catholic hate organization MoveOn.org. Last year, MoveOn.org was forced to take down its Action Forum in disgrace after it was revealed that it had served as a platform for hate speech plus 9/11 conspiracy theories even wackier than Rosie O'Donnell's.
MoveOn.org tried to claim that anonymous third parties had posted the hate speech without its knowledge, but this fell apart when it was proven that MoveOn had been exercising editorial control in favor of the hate speech. That is, postings critical of MoveOn and/or the hate speech were deleted and their originators blocked from posting, while blood libels of Jews and Evangelical Christians plus vicious smears of Catholics were allowed to stand.
MoveOn's people accused Jews and Catholics of having divided loyalties (to Israel and the Vatican respectively) while MoveOn.org posted a derogatory picture of Pope Benedict in 2005. We should circulate this picture as widely as possible, especially in places where there are a lot of Catholic voters. One Action Forum posting, which gained a high approval rating, called Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice "house slaves," and another implied that African-American soldiers were likely mutineers.
I have a collection of this stuff on three Web pages (it took that many to hold all of it), but I recommend viewing it on an empty stomach. Imagine what you would get by putting the writers of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, 19th century Know-Nothings, Thomas Nast (infamous for his cartoons of Catholics), the Ku Klux Klan, Rosie O'Donnell, Al Sharpton's National Action Network, and conspiracy theoriests from an insane asylum in one room, and then encouraging them to share the best of their ideas.
More recently, a MoveOn.org official bulletin that supports the Palestinians against Israel (while citing sources like Electronic Intifada) was found in an archival service and is now being circulated all over the Internet. MoveOn took the original page down when it began to take heat, but I see no reason to let them off the hook.
(2) All the major Democratic candidates appeared at Al Sharpton's National Action Network, which is equivalent to showing up at a Klan rally. The National Action Network is a hate group--and, given its actions prior to the fatal arson of Freddy's Fashion Mart in Harlem, an arguably violent one--that is as repugnant as the Klan. Sharpton himself is on record as using racist and anti-Semitic slurs routinely.
Barack Obama appears arm in arm with this individual. Unlike Coleridge's Ancient Mariner, it seems that Obama has hung this albatross (the Sharpton-tross) around his own neck, and it is stinking to high heaven from hate speech and actions of the worst kind.
(3) The National "Jewish" "Democratic" Council (there is nothing about it that any decent Jew or mainstream Democrat will acknowledge) is now a Republican asset. This is because the NJDC condemned Mitt Romney for making a speech at the Henry Ford Museum (because Ford once sponsored anti-Semitic material, which he later repudiated and retracted). Now take a look at item #2. If Mitt Romney should, per NJDC's standards, be disqualified for appearing at the museum of a long-dead EX-antisemite, what is to be said of individuals who appeared with a living and unrepentant hatemonger like Sharpton? We must use this against Clinton, Obama, Edwards, and so on at every opportunity.
NJDC is also arguably an anti-Christian and even anti-Semitic hate organization. Its "Bubbie" videos portray Christians (not Republicans, CHRISTIANS) in a "this is the enemy" context. Christian symbols like crosses and Jesus, and beliefs like the Rapture, are belittled while ministers and "Jews for Jesus" are depicted as saying, "A vote for Bush is a vote for God."
NJDC even uses derogatory anti-Semitic stereotypes against Jews it doesn't like, i.e. Bush's Jewish cabinet members. NJDC has also repackaged and relabeled what is essentially Nazi propaganda ("Jews distrust Christians") on its Web site. NJDC's Ira Forman also lied to his readers by trying to whitewash MoveOn.org's hate speech (described above). This is why it is reasonable to contend that NJDC, despite its purportedly Jewish identity, is anti-Semitic as well as anti-Christian.
The sooner this organization is discredited and made irrelevant to the political process, the better--and I am speaking as a Jewish voter. In a political confrontation between Christians and NJDC, I will line up with my Christian friends without hesitation.
(4) The Democrats' almost-unanimous vote to undermine our Armed Forces with the withdrawal vote. Joe Lieberman ("Jew Lieberman" to MoveOn.org) is the only Democratic Senator who voted to support the troops, while Reid openly encouraged the enemy by saying the U.S. has lost the war.

re: moveon
You people are so full of crap. Why don't you dig your head out of your ass long enough to look around.
Note only moveon
They are more extreme than most people realize, I agree. And I think guys like Murtha who are hanging out with the marxists of Code Pink should be exposed for what they're doing. But Code Pink itself should be exposed for what it is - not a group of soccer moms - and Cindy Sheehan has been involved with a lot more than that for a long, long time. But these people do not advertise themselves as democrats, they think of the democrats as their useful idiots. And they are holding the democrats to account to support their extremist pinko agenda.
"Hold fast to the Bible as the sheet anchor of your liberties; write its precepts on your hearts and practice them in your lives. To the influence of this book we are indebted for the progress made, and to this we must look as our guide in the future."--Ulysses S. Grant
Not only MoveOn...
I have to agree with you. I also wonder, when will the GOP start slamming Democrats for working openly with groups like ANSWER and the International Action Center? These are openly socialist, pseudo-communist groups not only opposing victory in Iraq, but supporting the whackjob 9/11 conspiracy theories. We need to pull video of Congressman and Senators at these rallies and show the American people their feathers.
