Strickland: Defending King James

Update: Great Job Teddy! Dem Governor jinxes Cavs, who drop game one 85-76.

Ted Strickland, also known as Taxin' Ted, is hated amongst Ohio Conservatives, and for good reason. Strickland wants to put in place policies that will hurt Ohio businesses, Ohio citizens, and increase the already ridiculous tax burden in our state. Strickland scarcely does something I agree with, but he recently did something I liked. He defended the Cavs superstar:

ROTR- Strickland in Front of the Witness BannerCLEVELAND (AP) -- Gov. Ted Strickland wants state transportation officials to back off any threat of removing a 10-story banner featuring Cavaliers star LeBron James.

The massive banner -- an ad for shoemaker Nike Inc. -- hangs on the side of a building near Quicken Loans Arena, and violates federal highway beautification standards, said Lindsay Komlanc, a spokeswoman for the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Strickland said the state should make allowances for art.

"I'd say it's an impressive, emotive display, and I would consider it art. So I've asked ODOT to cease any efforts to seek removal of the sign," Strickland said Wednesday, when he made a trip to the city.

The Cavs are currently struggling and battling through Game One of the NBA finals against the San Antonio Spurs, and I have hope that they can beat this good team. A lot of people are projecting the Cavaliers losing in 5 or 6 games, but I think the Cavs, under Lebron James, can take the series and be the NBA Champions. We'll have to watch and see.

LOL!!!!

LOL!!!!

on Strickland...

The post says I hate him!

strickland

I guess it doesnt take much for him to impress you. Wasting everyones time and money on something stupid that has no effect on the state that has so many issues.
