Churchill Watch

Update: 8-1 Churchill fired. Hot Air has all the details. I don't know if it was external media pressure or true care for the students that prompted their decision. Video of the vote and the idiot leftists that protest it afterwards is available below (language warning):

Ward Churchill, the man who called 9/11 victims "little Eichmanns," is set to be fired soon apparently. I'll weigh in some more when the actual decision comes down. Via Michelle Malkin, it's Churchill Watch:

ROTR- Indoctrinator Ward ChurchillUniversity of Colorado ethnic- studies professor Ward Churchill faces dismissal today at the hands of the school’s Board of Regents after 2 1/2 years of national controversy and investigations.

Protesters backing Churchill have vowed to hold demonstrations at the Boulder campus. CU officials say police will be present.

Churchill has told Boulder’s Daily Camera he expects to be fired today.

He is charged with academic misconduct, ranging from plagiarism to inventing facts and even entire historical episodes. Among the more unusual charges is that Churchill published essays under the names of other people then cited them in his footnotes as independent sources supporting his views.

A faculty investigative committee upheld the charges one year ago. The matter then crawled through an extensive appeals process, with CU President Hank Brown recommending dismissal in May.

The regents will meet today in closed session to hear the charges and Churchill’s response. They will then deliberate in private but vote in public on whether to fire him.

"...external media pressure

"...external media pressure or true care for the students that prompted their decision."

Nah, definitely had to be shamed into it.

More reading comprehension fun!

Boy Ol' Boy, that right wing echo chambers works wonders...

Any Nazi comparisons only serve for shock value and immediately makes any argument, however sound or unsound, worthless. I hate this nazi comparison shit just as much as I hate the pinko/commie shit that establishment running dogs toss around.

From what I remember, Churchill's argument was that, if Eichmann was fair game to be killed as a facilitator of the Nazi war machine, then those CIA and Pentagon-type people, who did have some offices in the World Trade Center, were fair targets, as they are facilitators of the American War Machine. I AM NOT SAYING I AGREE WITH THAT. I want to make that clear to some of the knee-jerk posters on here. AGAIN, I AM NOT SAYING I AGREE WITH THAT. But that's what one gets with a sound reading of Churchill's paper when one has a waaaay less ideological view of American foreign relations.
