Free Speech Hits the Shitter

Islamists are pursuing Sharia Law here in the United States, and they're getting dangerously close to accomplishing their goal in certain parts of the United States. Liberal-designed hate crime legislation is now being employed to punish those that insult Islam. This is ridiculous:
NEW YORK (AP)- A 23-year-old man was arrested Friday on hate-crime charges after he threw a Quran in a toilet at Pace University on two separate occasions, police said.
Stanislav Shmulevich of Brooklyn was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and aggravated harassment, both hate crimes, police said. It was unclear if he was a student at the school. A message left at the Shmulevich home was not immediately returned.
The Islamic holy book was found in a toilet at Pace's lower Manhattan campus by a teacher on Oct. 13. A student discovered another book in a toilet on Nov. 21, police said.
Muslim activists had called on Pace University to crack down on hate crimes after the incidents. As a result, the university said it would offer sensitivity training to its students.
The school was accused by Muslim students of not taking the incident seriously enough at first. Pace classified the first desecration of the holy book as an act of vandalism, but university officials later reversed themselves and referred the incident to the New York Police Department's hate crimes unit.
Throwing a book in the toilet is a hate crime? You can smear shit all over a picture of the Virgin Mary and it's considered art, but if you put a book that instructs people to kill you in the toilet you'll be arrested. As if THAT isn't ridiculous, Charles from LGF is now reporting that Stanislave is being charged with felonies. My message, designed by GM Roper with inspiration and instruction from Kender sits to the right. If you're not up on arabic writing, the toilet paper says Allah. Let me guess... I have an e-mail threat from CAIR coming, saying a lawsuit will be in the mail if I don't take it down? Free speech now sits in the shitter while Sharia sits on the law books.

If you can burn a flag you can flush a Koran.
Actually I think a Koran is too big to successfully flush given our newer low flow toilets.

If I am not mistaken this will be covered under the first amendment as political speech, so lets get it on get it through the courts and have the Supreme Court rule this as such much as they have with burning the American Flag....bring it on!!!!
