Arrogant YouTube Voters
- Posted by Justin Higgins on July 30th, 2007 in
A couple days ago I chose to blog on the YouTube debate, and said I would support the Republicans as long as they don't look like idiots. Hot Air has me in limbo wondering if we want involved in this or not. If this is the type of voter we're losing (and she looks like the anti-war feminist type to me), then good riddance:
The folks in the comments section on Hot Air are on both sides, each with valid arguments. Republicans shouldn't shy away from challenging the liberal media. In a perfect world, the GOP would flat-out say "That question was stupid," if faced with a snowman incident. To quote a commentator at Hot Air:
This has zero to do with Youtube itself and everything to do with submitting to another left-wing media organization debate that is anything but a debate. Enough is enough. Let’s get some serious questions before our candidates. The snowman is just representative of the farcical nature of all the debates so far and I think Mitt and the boys are right to shun them.

Riding the Pony
Listening to people doesn't have much to do with being a good President - or a good man, for that matter. It's more about knowing RIGHT from wrong, and about living by those principles either in personal life and in whatever public role you choose to fill. This is true of policemen, firemen, governors, and presidents. Yes...it's even true of dictators. The bottom line? When it comes to the truth, there is no room for discussion, because the truth is rock-solid and does not change no matter what the nature of the discourse. Therefore, truth speaks forth unchanging and with authority. Those who know the truth live by it and follow it wherever they hear its voice. These people form a universal bond that the Biblical writers simply call, "the church."
The only thing discussion is good for is disagreement, from which the truth will set you free.
I hope you enjoyed your pony ride at the fair, little miss Babelfish.
I think...
I think the problem is that CNN is choosing idiotic questions, and YouTube is known to censor videos exposing the truth about Islam...
Shame on you-
-being part of that liberal media via youtube. Everyone can submit and stream stuff on youtube, yet it is a bastion of liberal thought. Shame, shame shame!!!!!!
Yeah, you can respond to stuff around here, but they'll jump on you the minute you start making sense and speaking in factish. Watch out!
And proper women wear red. Just like Nancy did. Another shame, shame, shame on you.
Appreciate Your Openness
Hi, I'm the girl in the video that everone is bashing. I just wanted to say thank you for talking about me in a forum that I can actually respond in, as opposed to commenting in a locked-down forum. It's no big deal if you don't like me or agree with me, I just appreciate the fact that I'm capable of defending myself if I choose to, unlike over at hotair.com. Thanks for having some dignity, I really do appreciate it!
