The Blogs on GOE III
Justin Higgins — Wed, 2007-08-15 14:34
What are the various blogs saying about the next Gathering of Eagles? Quite a bit, on both sides of the aisle. Here's what I found:
First up, from Maverick News Network, comes this great lead-in about the Eagles:
Just when the anti-American, pro-terrorist communists and anarchists at ANSWER thought it was safe to crawl out from under the sewer sludge they call home, and again attempt to intimidate our government into giving up the fight against terrorism, the Gathering of Eagles is primed to again offer a counter point of view in Washington, DC, in September.
Next up is a post from Hello Iraq, which echoes another post on the GOE site. Read it.
SWAC Girl is blogging on it, and describes the action in the following way:
This will counter the anti-war protesters headed up by MoveOn.org groups that plan to be in D.C. the same day to march on the White House. Let's join fellow pro-victory, pro-America patriots by swelling their ranks to overwhelm the anti-war protesters.
Chris Dickson is blogging about Move America Forward's cross-country tour, which is linking up with GOE III on September 15th to make this the largest pro-victory rally in the history of the United States. Chris writes:
American democracy will once again be showcased for the world on September 15th as a variety of groups are already gearing up for massive demonstrations on that day in Washington, D.C.
Move America Forward, the nation's largest non-profit, non-partisan grassroots group that vociferously declares their support for Operation Iraqi Freedom and the American soldiers committed to that effort, will culminate their nationwide caravan with thousands of flag waving and placarded demonstrators making a visible statement of support for American efforts to defeat terrorism and introduce democracy to Iraq.
A Newt One breaks out their drudge-style flashing alert to give news about GOE III. This one is very interesting, because A Newt One will have updates you can't get from anyone else, not even me (though I'll be bringing some of my own updates you can't get over there). The alert there reads:
A Newt One is honored and proud to be part of the Move America Forward/ Gathering of Eagles coalition that will lead a caravan of patriots to storm our nation's capital. The Caravan will cross America, west to east, beginning September 3rd and climaxing with a massive pro-Iraq war mission rally on September 15th on the national mall.
Help us give the anti-war crowd a combat boot in the mouth and show America that we were right to never waver in our support of the Iraq war.
Debbie Lee, from Move America Forward, will record a special message each day of the caravan that will be broadcast exclusively on A Newt One. Then, on September 15th, look for a special live double webcast from Washington DC on American Truth Warriors and The Halls of Valhalla!
And finally, and you knew this had to be coming some time, the folks on the other side of this fight (the anti-victory forces), are using the blogs to propogate their dis-information as well. A site apparently called Tampa's Back Door brings this message from a moonbat group:
The Gathering of Eagles is mobilizing on September 15 to try to intimidate us. The Department of Interior is threatening $10,000 and more in fines for lawfully advertising for this day. The forces are mobilizing to try to silence us as General Petreaus gives his report. As he calls for years more of war. The streets of DC cannot be silent on September 15.The streets of DC cannot be filled with warmongers as they spread their hate.
Apparently they'd prefer if the streets were filled with more anarchists, World Workers Party (communist) goons, and 9/11 "truthers." Yep, the freakshow is their option, and patriots are ours. We're not warmongers, we're people that believe we're fighting a righteous battle. That's the first blog report, there'll be more. Eagles up!

Unborn!
looneyontheleft — Sat, 2007-08-18 14:29It is 'unborn' babies. Unborn. I've tried to get the great state of Ohio to allow the aborting of children up until the 20th trimester, but I get looked at funny.
I'm all for it. Too many people in this world as it is. And most of the people breeding really shouldn't be. (I'll also put 'I am an elitist liberal tool' right alongside the 'I'm all for killing unborn, UNWANTED babies' sticker).
Its none of your business if someone wants to kill their unborn, unwanted child in the womb. Go adopt an unwanted black baby (or if you have the money and connections, get a healthy white one)if you want to support the rampant procreating of people, start adopting the fruits of their overworked loins.
And remember, one thing that the history of when abortion was illegal shows, is that poor people will go into back-alleys for their scrape jobs or do it themselves at home. Falling down steps, having the father kick the mom in the belly and DIY jobs with hangers were common. And rich women will always find a doctor willing to do it for a price.
abortion
Anonymous terry (not verified) — Sat, 2007-08-18 12:22I believe that anyone who is "for" abortion should have a sticker on their auto
telling the world that they approve of: "...killing babies for any reason at all.."!
There are plenty of fine bumper stickers telling the world what we, the Conservatives, think about abortion. NOW IT IS THE LIBERALS TIME TO SHOW WHAT THEY
REALLY THINK...!
oh ok...
looneyontheleft — Thu, 2007-08-16 23:53Thanks man, on rereading, that is kind of clear now. Apologies to Cao.
I guess I was just anxious to do some arguing.... ;)

hey looney
kender — Thu, 2007-08-16 22:07I think the tolerant comment was about roxy, not you. Roxy seems to be a lib that is very intolerant of someone saying something that may allude to the fact that something has a certain gayness attached to it (i.e. your comment on the name of teh backdoor blog).....libs are supposed to be tolerant and roxy isn't acting it.

ha Ha Patchouli!
looneyontheleft — Thu, 2007-08-16 17:39That's funny.
And yea, people oppose the war out of personal cowardness. So by that rational, every pro-war guy of good health between the ages of 18-35 better be signed up and in uniform fighting.
oh puleeze. yall call me
Anonymous (not verified) — Thu, 2007-08-16 17:34oh puleeze. yall call me when ya graduate, hear?
answer morons....
kender — Thu, 2007-08-16 17:14I have a few questions for you. Do you not believe the people in the middle east when they say the are out to destroy the west and make islam the dominant religion?
DO you believe that the government has a responsibility (one of the few it is actually charged with actually) to protect this country, its citizens and its interests?
Do you believe that personal hygiene is important? (I only ask this last one since most of the hippies and anti-war (read cowardly) types I have met reek of BO and patchouli)
I look forward to your response.
