He's not committing "pergury" by pleading guilty. I was merely stating that if he pleaded guilty without actually being guilty (as he has claimed) then he lied in court and has perjured.

I don't quite know what you mean? There is nothing illegal in pleading guilty in the US justice system, no matter what your motives. The prosecuter/plaintiff make a charge, the defendant pleads his case, the judge decides if it goes to trial or not or proclaims sentence (in the case of a guilty plea). You may not agree with Sen. Craigs motives, but you can hardly deny him his right to plead guilty. And you are right, purgery would be a far more serious crime, which is why I am always so baffled by liberals (this is a side comment, in no way directed toward you)who insist on brushing Bill Clinton's crimes aside as falling into the category of "what he does in his personal life should be kept there." Craig claims that he is innocent but plead guilty to get the case closed. That would seem to be perjury to me, a far more serious crime then what he was charged with.

Craig is in violation of his probation. The judge should put him in prison immediately. Then he would not have to resign, right?
