I've covered the Islam-worshipping idiocy that's occurring in the Flight 93 Memorial design before. My previous coverage was early in my blogging days, so it's a bit rough. I was still right though, and my outrage over the proposed memorial has only multiplied since then.

Cao from Cao's Blog has a post up breaking down all the various outrages about the design. There's plenty to be angry about. For example, on the fact that the crescent is oriented towards Mecca:

Here’s one way, which the Johnstown Tribune Democrat reported. Go to Islam.com, which has a Mecca-direction calculator. Plug in PA, Somerset, and the calculator will give you a graphic of the direction to Mecca from Somerset. From there, place it over the official design PDFs for the Crescent of Embrace to see that the Mecca direction line (the “qibla” line) bisects the giant crescent.

Cao has images up at her site, including plenty of footnotes. One picture, that tells the entire story, is from the Blue Merle. It shows both the Mecca orientation and how close the design resembles the Islamic crescent:

For the sake of full disclosure, the design has been changed, slightly, to a large bowl that still includes the giant red crescent. Cao also documents the change and how it's a poor attempt to cover up the Islamic symbol.
