The Real Rudy

I know Rudy isn't the candidate of choice amongst lots of you folks 'cuz of his pro-choice leanings and humanistic view of gay rights, but he's strong on foreign policy and might get some votes. And just in case it comes down to him, don't forget some of these 911 issues that don't get much play outside of the New York area.

Radios! They had the same shitty radios that didn't work in '93.

Command Center! He put the emergency command center in the one place that had been attacked in '93. Stick around until the end to see why

A 'mistakes' rundown.

Avoiding-

-the issue I had, which I may not have made clear, which is making a mock movie trailer trivializing the blood that's been lost to militant islam the past 30 years? They cut it and edited it to look like a movie trailer!

Regardless of you folks wanting your candidates to get this message of fear out there, do you really think a SUMMER ACTION MOVIE trailer is the best way to do it?

Doesn't this kind of scare you, regarding the mentalities of the folks they're trying to reach? They have to do it speaking in the language of a hundred million dollar action movie?

It isn't Islamophobia, IMHO, as this is really making a small point that their religion has been betrayed and taken over.

Its more of 'MilitantIslamophobia'! Which I'm ok with, I guess, if you need something to be in fear of.

They ain't coming for your freedoms-

-No arab country is coming for your freedoms. Neither were the Iraqi Republican Guard, or the Sandinistas (who Ronny Ragun told us were two days march away from Texas, an army from a place that didn't have more than one elevator in their whole country), nor was the Republic of North Vietnam and neither were the North Koreans.

Maybe the Germans had a chance to, but they had the numbers and the armies and the technology to do it.

Now, the arabs might come here to shoot up a mall or blow up a building, but that isn't the same thing as taking away your democraticly promised and constitutionally-mandated freedoms. One thing does not mean the other, and you really should ask yourself why the folks in power want you to make that connection. When it makes no sense.

The only people who have taken away our freedoms in the past are the same folks who have to be pressured into giving those freedoms. Your very own government. Remember that this upcoming MLKJR day, when for an evening you might see that old black and white TV footage of blacks getting hosed down by white cops while trying to get their constitutionally promised rights. Or maybe if you read something about the woman's suffrage movement, more people trying to get their freedoms...And don't forget the struggle for Free Speech, which really wasn't ours until the Supreme Court gave it to us in 1965.

Has Anne Coulter put out a book spinning those struggles yet, so that you may feel a tad better about how things have really gone down in this country of ours in the past?

You ever notice how even when we weren't faced with this terror threat, election cycles always have fear mongering commercials? Be afraid of mexicans, be afraid of Willy Horten, be afraid of blacks, be afraid of the Russians, be afraid of the nukes, be afraid of crime, be afraid of a president who won't nuke the russians! Doesn't that tell you something? There's always fear being dealt, even way before those towers got hit and millions of people here started to live like the other 80% of the world. Living normally but with the threat in the back of their mind.

And if you think the blood of the victims of terror, on 911 and around the world (the main victims being lots of moderate and secular Muslims the world over), should be turned into a summer action movie-like political ad to push a candidate who might be mentally ill at worse and at best merely political incompetent, then god be with you. This presentation, the mock movie trailer, is what I find to be trivializing and disturbing.

Christ, if Hillary had the balls to do this some of you people would be knee-deep in her shit so quickly we wouldn't even hear the splash. We'd just smell it on you all every time a blog was updated with stinky, Hillary Poop-stained fingers.

Right, we should just forget about it.

It's "Islamophobia", right?

Despite what muslims against sharia and other reasonable muslims have to say about it.

Maybe you should start looking for that common sense you lost somewhere along the way, lol

No Looney, it's NOT fear-mongering, it's.....

REALITY! The general public needs a constant reminder of what we are up against. While the so-called debates discuss the touchy-feely crap that makes for a wussy show biz presentation, the biggest threat to this nation is overlooked: TERRORISM.

Fred and Rudy are constantly trying to keep this in the forefront for good reason, but the MSM with its lefty producers and directors purposely overlook it. And, YES, that nano-second view of WTC rubble as they fade out from Osama Bin Laden IS cool to use. It's a clever reminder to the wussified in this country of this never-ending war we HAVE to be fighting to preserve our freedom.

Does this count as fear mongering?

I realize must of you folks have these fears, but to have them put out there like this in the style of a summer action movie...Kinda' cheesy and classless?

And is that a nano-second view of WTC rubble as they fade out from Osama Bin Laden? Is that cool to use?
