More on the Fredhead Migration

Fred's officially out, so his supporters will be left with a choice. As I've said before, the migration towards Mitt has begun. Needless to say, I pre-empted this unfortunate inevitability, and I'm here to cover what happened. Rusty says Mitt is our best hope, and I have to agree with him. His few words on electability:

ROTR- Romney Has New Fans

But I think Romney can win too. His chances are less than that of McCain, but I think it's doable. And he's by far the most conservative guy left in the race, save possibly Rudy.

Sure, he's a Mormon, and I think that there are just enough bigots out there that won't ever vote for a Mormon. A fair number of those are Huckabee supporters. But since the race may come down to the choice between a Mormon, a black guy, or a woman, I think we can safely assume that the morons will just stay home and not affect the outcome of the election.

I disagree with the Rudy-Conservative point, because I think Mitt is far to the right of the pro-choice, sanctuary city, anti-gun mayor. Is Mitt as Conservative as Fred? No, but we take what we can. Some polls are floating around, and basically, Romney is the Conservative choice. Mitt's campaign is doing a great job telling Fred that he did a great job for the cause.
