McCain's Tax Cut Flip

When Mitt Romney changed his position on an issue, like abortion, he defended his change and didn't deny it. He told us why he converted into a pro-lifer. When John McCain talks about taxes, he says he's been for tax cuts, but he voted against them...
Sen. McCain: "I've been involved in all of these issues, I know now stop the irresponsible spending. I've always been for tax cuts, I have always…uh… although, I voted against the first tax cuts, but these tax cuts have to be made permanent…"
The truth is, John McCain has been an enemy to the Republican Party, and his record is anything but a model of consistency. We can't believe him when he says he's always been for something when he voted against it. If he changed his position he should say so, and he shouldn't run and pretend like he's a straight-talker.
