Romney to Endorse McCain

Update: Michelle Malkin liveblogged the endorsement announcement. My thought process was... VP anyone? I doubt McCain will make that decision but I'd obviously support it. He constantly talked about standing alongside Romney on the campaign trail, so who knows? If you're still thinking about whether to vote Mac or sit at home, look at his tax record and get off the couch.
The House Conservative leadership endorsed McCain, I endorsed McCain, and now my choice for President, Mitt Romney, is going to endorse McCain. This means my earlier report that Mitt would let his CPAC speech sit for a while but eventually make an endorsement was accurate. CNN's Political Ticker has the news:
CNN's Dana Bash reports that former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will endorse senator John McCain. The endorsement is expected to happen at a Boston event at 3:30 p.m. ET today.
Two sources familiar with the decision confirmed the news, and said Romney now wants the delegates he won during his campaign to back his former rival.
Technically, from my understanding, not all of Mitt's delegates are bound to vote for him in the first round of voting. Wyoming's delegates for example, are not pledged to anyone. For those calling this "falling in line", consider the alternative. Huckabee is worse than McCain.
