The "Name One Accomplishment" Game

It's a simple challenge. Conservatives, and Hillary supporters (a weird alliance I know), are challenging Barack Obama supporters to name a single accomplishment of the Illinois Senator. Hannity challenged them and they came up blank. The "Name One" Game, as it's being dubbed, caught even more fire last night when an Obama supporter was challenged by Matthews to name an accomplishment and failed. Via Hot Air, here's the video:

I found this display incredibly entertaining, though I'd also argue that Hillary Clinton has no real accomplishments to list. Her health care plan failed miserably, she has a list of scandals longer than that of the Nixon administration, and she is a liberal Senator that is constantly undercutting America's security.

Michelle Malkin has protested the "Name One" game because she believes it will backfire on John McCain due to his authorship of horrible pieces of legislation like McCain-Feingold and McCain-Lieberman. I responded in her comments trying to drive the point home that while McCain is flawed, he has a significant list of accomplishments that don't involve government-expanding pieces of legislation:

I for one love the “Name One” game and Conservatives don’t embrace it as a piece of legislation game. What has John McCain done?

He’s managed to defend the surge and champion it in Congress, essentially tying his political life to a piece of military strategy that wasn’t assured of success.

He’s managed to vote against tax hikes over and over again. He’s also NEVER inserted an earmark into a bill, ever.

I can list things that don’t start with “McCain-” in his list of accomplishments. The “McCain-” pieces are in his list of flaws.

This is one of those few times where I disagree with Michelle Malkin. I believe John McCain and the Republican Party are massive beneficiaries of the "Name One" game. For some fun, check out the contest raging at Hot Air mocking the Texas Senator that failed so miserably. The Cult of Obama is increasingly pathetic.

I don't see

I don't see where he actually said Barack had no accomplishments, I just see him laughing because his supporters struggled to name one. It seems to be like you're putting words in his mouth. Like I said, it just looks bad. I was also of the impression Justin is "of age" now so "little boy" is a bit much?

Stupid is as stupid does

Justin joined in on the wingnut "name one accomplishment" meme without bothering to find out what Obama's accomplishments actually are. That's a really stupid thing to do, and there's no reason to pretend otherwise.

Justin is a stupid little boy. If he doesn't want folks to notice that, he should try being smarter.

Wow

Have you ever tried the "catch more flies with honey" argument? To be honest, I just stopped by this site, and I look at someone like you and go "this guy's an idiot" because of the way you present yourself. You presented some facts for your argument but most people will look them over because you called the blogger a "stupid little boy" over and over. I suggest a change of strategy.

For the record, I'm an Obama supporter, and your response rang true of a lot of things, the last of which was hope.

Name one reason not to laugh at Justin

It's hard to know the facts when you work so diligently at preserving your ignorance. But by God, Justin, you have managed to prove that even one so young as you can insulate himself from reality.

It's not hard to find Obama's accomplishments. You just have to look, as hilzoy has done. I'll make it easy for you:

Here, stupid little boy.

Here, stupid little boy.

Here, stupid little boy.

Here, stupid little boy.

It is so much fun shoving the facts up your nose. Wanna talk about who's pathetic now, Justin?
