Schuring Gets NRA Endorsement

I have an internet exclusive to share with you guys, and it has to do with the Ohio 16th race. Kirk Schuring has racked up yet another endorsement from a major Republican establishment group. The forerunner organization for gun-owners sent this letter to Kirk:

ROTR- Kirk Schuring for CongressOn behalf of our millions of NRA members, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund is proud to endorse your candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2008 Republican primary election in Ohio’s sixteenth congressional district. Based on your record in the Ohio state legislature, as well as your response to our NRA Federal Candidate Questionnaire, you are rated an “A” by the NRA-PVF in this election.

As a member of the Ohio Senate, you demonstrated a proven commitment to defense of our Second Amendment rights through your votes for Ohio’s Right to Carry law and efforts to stop bogus lawsuits against our domestic gun manufacturers.

The NRA-PVF urges all NRA members, gun owners, and sportsmen in Ohio’s sixteenth congressional district to vote for you in the Republican primary election on March 4th.

The NRA is one of the most principled Conservative groups in the nation, and the fact that they support Kirk adds another notch in his belt of credentials. Kirk has the establishment, and it's because he has the views and experience to serve Ohio.

NRA Political Victory Fund

The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund lied and originally said that they were going to give a blanket endorsement to all three Republican candidates...Schuring, Schiffer, and Miller.

So I’m wondering if the Timken Co. (who is backing Schuring) gave a nice healthy contribution to the NRA in order to secure their endorsement.

Did I ever see Schuring at the Medina Gun Show talking to people? NO. I saw Paul Schiffer out there talking to the people.

Did I see Schuring at the March for Life in DC to protest abortion? NO. I saw Paul Schiffer at the DC March for Life taking a visible stand against abortion. In fact, Kirk Schuring used to be “Pro-Choice” (ie- Pro-Abortion) before he claimed to be Pro-Life. He hasn’t been an activist and advocate in the Pro-Life movement like Paul Schiffer has for the last 20 years.

Kirk Schuring is a political suit representing the Republican establishment and the Timken Co., and big business special interest groups. He does not represent the majority of conservative constituents in the 16th Congressional District.

The only TRUE conservative representing the 16th District is Paul Schiffer.
