Revenge of the Shrill

Hillary Clinton's political fortunes did not look good a week ago, with the gap closing in Ohio and Barack in command of Texas polls. Since then, Hillary's regained her lead in the Lone Star State and solidified her standing in my home state. Needless to say, these polls are just that, polls, and the polls in New Hampshire tricked us all. Still, the narrative building may be very good for the Shrill One:

ROTR- Hillary Clinton ReboundingThe stage has been set for a Hillary Clinton comeback on Tuesday.

Nobody knows if she has the votes to do it, but the opportunity is ripe.

She not only is vigorously attacking Barack Obama but simultaneously portraying herself as a victim.

It is a nifty political two-step.

What can we expect following tonight's contests? Surely Hillary will pull of one of them, and Rhode Island, and she'll make the case that she can fight on until Pennsylvania. Seven more weeks of horrible policies, seven more weeks of blue-on-blue bloodshed, and seven more weeks of Hillary saying all the things about Barack we won't. It's beautiful. If things keep going this way, expect McCain in a romp come November.
