The People That Know Him Best

Would an associate of Barack Obama say that he does things specifically for political motivations? Yes, especially if that associate was removed from Obama's campaign and semi-condemned by the candidate in front of the nation. Via RCP, the Ranting Reverend on Obama and doing anything to be elected:

Intellectual Bankruptcy Angel?
I hope you copyrighted that phrase. Perhaps "Intellectual Dishonesty Goblin" is more appropriate.
I don't see it as "digging up dirt" or a "he said she said" continuum. These are important publicly displayed facets of character belonging to someone we are being asked to trust for at least four years of making crucial decisions for a nation of 300 million, which in turn affect the free world. It's the degree of dishonesty and inconsistency he projects--Obama has now changed his tune twice about the flag pin and about Rev. Wright, revealing that he wasn't straight with us the first time. Grandma's under the bus after all. Of course he dismisses these as "distractions," because even he can see they are major issues to a majority of the public and they are hurting his campaign.
I don't see your point. So
I don't see your point. So what you are saying is, Joe Sixpack, is a moron, who doesn't understand taxes, so you go for the intellectual bankruptcy angel? Come on.
This has been my problem with the "Conservative Movement" for a long time. Take Sean Hannity for instance. I would say he has done major damage to the movement. And turned it into a "he said/she said" kind of crap that the Democrats have done in the past. There's no idea's left, so go after someone who is close to the person, and dig all the dirt up you can. "He's Anti-American", "He hates this country", Yeah, so what?? Oh no Obama doesn't wear a flag-pin. Oh the Horror!! Doesn't place his hand of his heart during the pledge? Hang'em. Good lord. I don't place my hand of my heart during the pledge either. And I'm as Pro-American as it gets.
Again, as I said in my post which you can read here..http://regularron.baywords.com/2008/04/30/the-so-called-revwright/ this whole thing is a joke. And shows how far we've come. Not far at all.
Trivial to you, maybe
Trivial to you, maybe, but to the millions of Democrats on the fence this issue is the one they can comprehend. Many Americans may not understand the intricacies of foreign policy or tax structure, and on these topics Obama and Clinton sound nearly the same; but Joe Sixpack and limo liberal both know racial bigotry when they hear it.
No offense Justin, but I
No offense Justin, but I find all of this crap with the Rev.and Obama, just a bit trivial. Meaning, a big friggin joke.

That's my post on all of my feelings about this who "non-issue".
