Schuring Campaign Update
- Posted by Justin Higgins on July 5th, 2008 in
My last post about the Schuring campaign garned a bit of controversy, in the Ohio political community and in the blogging community. Since I released the post, I've had conversations with plenty of Ohio political operatives and I want to clarify a few things and give my readership some updates:
First off, I still endorse and will always endorse Kirk Schuring for United States Representative, and I believe the people of Ohio's 16th would be doing us a disservice by electing John Boccieri. Despite the problems that the campaign has had with the blogging community, my endorsement should never have been in question. My first post should've clarified this. Second, on the blogger front, some friends of mine said they have been contacted by the Schuring campaign and I applaud them. It's time that we push forward and win this thing.
On a seperate point, I haven't been contacted by the official campaign yet but I have been contacted by someone in the Stark County Republican community with a few videos about Boccieri. The following video is from a press conference John was supposed to have with prominent Democrat Rahm Emanuel. Rahm didn't show and Boccieri was left to field questions from the audience, and he attacked drilling:
Boccieri is incorrect in saying that we wouldn't see a drop of oil for 15-20 years. If we began offshore drilling, which is essentially easy-access oil, we'd see refined gasoline within 5 or 6 years. If we began slant-drilling in the Rockies, it wouldn't take much longer than that. What John fails to mention also is that immediately prices would plunge because the speculators would see America securing her own energy independence. Whether these videos were sent from someone within the Schuring campaign or not, I appreciate the tip-off, and I fully support Kirk going into November.

Got facts?
(Poor idiotic Anonyfool. It got caught making yet another foolish claim for which is has not one scrap of supporting fact. And the shame of being caught forced it to revert to its true four-year-old self, shrieking I ASKED YOU FIRST! I ASKED YOU FIRST! I ASKED YOU FIRST! Watch the lying puke run away again...)
"Economists and industry analysts disagree, and they know more than the government."
By all means, Anonyfool, cite these "economists and industry analysts" by name. Tell us exactly what they claim regarding the time frame for offshore drilling.
Back up your spew with facts, gasbag.
i challenged you
I challenged you first, condemn the racial divide in the Democrat party. Do it or you have no credibility on any issue that ever mattered in the history of the world.
Got facts?

Economists
Economists and industry analysts disagree, and they know more than the government. Government sucks. Why do you lie by putting meatbrain? Your brain is surely not actual meat as we think of meat. media matters is also a biased source. renounce the racial divide in the democrat party or shut up.
Why do you lie, Justin?
"Boccieri is incorrect in saying that we wouldn't see a drop of oil for 15-20 years. If we began offshore drilling, which is essentially easy-access oil, we'd see refined gasoline within 5 or 6 years."
You're lying, Justin. Boccieri is right:
In its Annual Energy Outlook for 2007, the Energy Department's Energy Information Administration (EIA) stated: "The projections in the OCS [Outer Continental Shelf] access case indicate that access to the Pacific, Atlantic, and eastern Gulf regions would not have a significant impact on domestic crude oil and natural gas production or prices before 2030. Leasing would begin no sooner than 2012, and production would not be expected to start before 2017."
Why do you continue to lie to your readership, Justin -- especially when your lies are so transparent and so easily exposed?
