Cheney Vs. Obama, Amazing!

I know Cheney's speech was several days ago but I really wanted to recap this amazing show.
I was never that big of a fan of Cheney, but I'm starting to change my mind. Any guy that will stand up for our country and say no waterboarding isn't torture and we need it to keep Americans safe is a good guy in my book.
Finally someone is pointing out the we need to protect the American people. The only thing that Obama and the left seams to be caring about is if the terrorists and other nations like us. Our government should be working to protect us from the terrorists not the other way around.
Cheney: The key to any strategy is accurate intelligence, and skilled professionals to get that information in time to use it. In seeking to guard this nation against the threat of catastrophic violence, our Administration gave intelligence officers the tools and lawful authority they needed to gain vital information. We didn’t invent that authority. It is drawn from Article Two of the Constitution. And it was given specificity by the Congress after 9/11, in a Joint Resolution authorizing “all necessary and appropriate force” to protect the American people.
What about the Mr. Obama? Guess that means that we need to use force to protect the American people. Not protect terrorists!
President Obama, Please start caring more about the people you represent and less about the people that are trying to kill us. Thanks

For two and a half hours, liberals will cower, Islamofascists will waver, and the man will truly belong in the Executive Branch. The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler has the info on the Cheney bump-up:
WASHINGTON (CNN) – President Bush will undergo a routine colonoscopy Saturday, and will transfer power to Vice President Dick Cheney during the procedure, expected to take about two and a half hours, the chief White House spokesman said.
What could happen in two and a half hours? Scooter Libby could be granted a full pardon, Iran could be "wiped off the map," and Ramos and Compean could also be granted full pardons for their crimes that never occurred. Only in a perfect world...

No Crime, No Lawsuit

Valerie Plame wasn't covert, so there was no crime in revealing her name. That being said, Joseph Wilson is still a lying coward with a political agenda that did no real research in Niger and was lambasting the administration to make a name for himself, especially amongst the Democrats he donated to. His wife's lawsuit has been dismissed.
PLAME LAWSUIT DISMISSED IN CIA LEAK CASE
A federal judge dismissed former CIA operative Valerie Plame’s lawsuit against members of the Bush administration Thursday, eliminating one of the last courtroom remnants of the leak scandal.
Plame, the wife of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, had accused Vice President Dick Cheney and others of conspiring to leak her identity in 2003. Plame said that violated her privacy rights and was illegal retribution for her husband’s criticism of the administration.
U.S. District Judge John D. Bates dismissed the case on jurisdictional grounds and said he would not express an opinion on the constitutional arguments. Bates dismissed the case against all defendants: Cheney, White House political adviser Karl Rove, former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby and former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.
Dick Armitage basically confessed to revealing Plame's name, and he had nothing to do with the administration and their problems with Wilson. Libby was not indicted for revealing Plame's name. He was indicted for having a memory lapse about a conversation he had (one amongst thousands), years ago. Fitzgerald needed to indict someone, or else he would have no chance of being named a Special Prosecutor in a future Democrat administration. This was all about political motivations, and everyone had them. No crime, no lawsuit.
