F*&#ing Scary

At Least Hitler Would've Killed the Bloggers

Fire this one under un-frickin-believable. This one doesn't have a political tint to it, so I couldn't file it under Liberal Lunacy. As far as I know, the sportswriter Bill Conlin, the subject of the story, is a Conservative, or Independent, or a GREENIE! Ok, maybe not a greenie, but he is a lunatic. Check out this quote from him, via Ace of Spades HQ:

ROTR- Bloggers are Evil! The only positive thing I can think of about Hitler’s time on earth–I’m sure he would have eliminated all bloggers. In Colonial times, bloggers were called “Pamphleteers.” They hung on street corners handing them out to passersby. Now, they hang out on electronic street corners, hoping somebody mouses on to their pretentious sites. Different medium, same MO. Shakespeare accidentally summed up the genre best with these words from a MacBeth soliloquy: “. . .a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. . .”

Hitler should've killed Thomas Paine! Oh wait, no, that was before his time, but he was a pamphleteer so he should've died! Oh, wait again, he helped with the foundation of this country! I'm sorry, but it's hard to treat this man seriously when he goes out and says ridiculous things. For the record, the argument was over whether Rollins should've won the MVP, and the blogger said no. If it was up to me, it would've went to Holliday. Just my two cents.

Idiocy Across the Globe

South Carolina's contestant in the Miss Teen USA pageant is an idiot. She's an attractive, inarticulate idiot. In case you missed it, she gave a rambling retarded answer to a question about why Americans can't seem to find the US on a map:

So is it possible, that there could be people out there in the world that are actually stupider than Miss Teen South Carolina? How about a large percentage of a French audience and a French man who made it onto their version of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' This is something you need to see:

Yep, idiocy is one thing that permeates all borders, infects all cultures, and needs to be combated wherever it's found. These videos make me feel like a freakin' genius.

The Global Caliphate Movement

100,000 people rally in Indonesia to stand against terrorism... NOT. Instead, they're rallying to support the creation of a global caliphate, a world where sharia law reigns supreme and they behead those that don't follow the religion. Yep, that religion of peace. From BBC News:

Inside Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno stadium the clues get easier. There are about 100,000 people inside, and everyone is in Islamic dress.

The women's section - by far the biggest - is a pitter-patter of ice-cream colours. On their parasols, one word is printed over and over again: Khilafah, caliphate.

Nope, that's not scary, right? Wrong. Let's cut to BBC's handy Q & A about the group that's holding the event, Hizb ut-Tahrir. Read:

In short, HT wants to establish an Islamic state across the Middle East - something known as a "Caliphate, or Khilafah in Arabic. The organisation regards the Caliphate as the ideal form of government which emerged from Islam 1,400 years ago because it is government according to the laws of God, as set out in the Koran, rather than by laws designed by man.

The organisation believes that the system practised by the Prophet Mohammad during the first years of Islam is applicable to all of the Muslim "umma" in Muslim lands. HT regards Islam as an entire system for life - in other words there should be no separation between religion and politics.

And I'm sure the ACLU would let that merger of religion and government fly. What's scary is, they might, given their record of appeasing to terrorists while slamming Christians for exercising their rights to free speech. Gateway Pundit has coverage of the event:

One by one, over the past few days, seven of the delegates invited to speak have dropped out.

Controversial Indonesian cleric Abu Bakar Ba'asyir was asked to stay away on security grounds, while three national leaders cancelled at the last minute.

The Palestinian delegate was unable to leave the Palestinian Territories, and representatives from Britain and Australia landed in Jakarta on Friday but were refused permission to enter the country.

And we slam Congressman Tancredo for openly saying that we're fighting Islamism, not just radical Islamism. The honest truth is, the Quran gives muslims clear instructions to wage a war on non-believers, and sharia law, be it in Indonesia or across the globe, will only assist the terrorists in brainwashing, recruiting, and fighting their war. In the words of Darth Sidius from Episode 1: "Wipe them out, all of them"
