Fitna

I've written before about Geert Wilders, the popular anti-Islamist crusader in Holland. He's recently released a video entitled Fitna, to much controversy. Here's the film:

The movie's original hosting company backed out, citing threats to their security and problems within their terms of use policy. Some video hosting sites are having a problem keeping the video up. And now, via Hot Air, here's the statement Liveleak posted after removing Fitna from their site:

Second Muslim Elected to Congress

ROTR- Andre Carson, Second MuslimJon Elrod, despite his best efforts, was unsuccessful in taking down the Democrat machine in the Special Election that occurred yesterday in Indiana's 7th. Reuters has the news:

INDIANAPOLIS (Reuters) - Indiana voters on Tuesday elected a Muslim to Congress, only the second of that faith chosen in U.S. history.

Andre Carson, grandson of the late Democrat Rep. Julia Carson, was elected to serve the balance of her term in the U.S. House of Representatives in a special election.

The article goes on to say that Carson converted to Islam a little over a decade ago. This is a fact that hadn't even affected my decision to support Elrod, though it would've. I have plenty of questions for any followers of The Religion of Pieces. Carson will face a primary in May to get his own party's nod to run in the actual election in November, where he just may face Elrod again (I believe). This is a race to watch.

More on Geert Wilders

You guys remember Geert Wilders don't you? He's quickly become a superstar in Dutch politics, and it's because he's been willing to stand up to the Religion of Pieces. According to Hot Air, Pakistan is banning YouTube to prevent trailers for Geert's upcoming documentary from getting around. Here's what we believe is the trailer:

I've already been told by some of my readers that Geert appears to be the type of xenophobic politician that we don't need speaking for our movement. I disagree vehemently. I think he's the type of anti-Islam realist we need. Take note, American politicians, some people recognize our enemy.

Saudi Men Arrested for Flirting

If Sharia Law was in place in the United States, I would've been hanged years ago for some of this. Via Michelle Malkin, this story from our ally Saudi Arabia should give us a hint about picking our friends:

ROTR- Saudi FlagProsecutors in Saudi Arabia have begun investigating 57 young men who were arrested on Thursday for flirting with girls at shopping centres in Mecca.

The men are accused of wearing indecent clothes, playing loud music and dancing in order to attract the attention of girls, the Saudi Gazette reported.

They were arrested following a request of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.

The mutaween enforce Saudi Arabia’s conservative brand of Islam, Wahhabism.

Earlier in the month, the authorities enforced a ban on the sale of red roses and other symbols used in many countries to mark Valentine’s Day.

The ban is partly because of the connection with a “pagan Christian holiday”, and also because the festival itself is seen as encouraging relations between the sexes outside marriage, punishable by law in the kingdom.

The Prosecution and Investigation Commission said it had received reports of such “bad” behaviour by 57 young men at a number of shopping centres in the holy city of Mecca, the Saudi Gazette said.

The Sharia practicers really don't like Valentine's Day. Wahhabism, by the way, is the brand of Islam that Osama Bin Laden practices. As for the word Conservative describing it, a more apt word would be medieval, as Charles points out. Take a careful look at Islam...

Anti-Islam Crusader Popular in Holland

Europe is a failing continent, as a whole, but there has been a dramatic shift to right and center-right populists taking on the muslim takeover. Sarkozy is a great example of that, but it's happening elsewhere. The Guardian has a great piece on an anti-Islam politician catching fire:

ROTR- Geert WildersA TV addict with bleached hair who adores Maggie Thatcher and prefers kebabs to hamburgers, Geert Wilders has got nothing against Muslims. He just hates Islam. Or so he says. 'Islam is not a religion, it's an ideology,' says Wilders, a lanky Roman Catholic right-winger, 'the ideology of a retarded culture.'

The Dutch politician, who sees himself as heir to a recent string of assassinated or hounded mavericks who have turned Holland upside down, has been doing a crash course in Koranic study. Likening the Islamic sacred text to Hitler's Mein Kampf, he wants the 'fascist Koran' outlawed in Holland, the constitution rewritten to make that possible, all immigration from Muslim countries halted, Muslim immigrants paid to leave and all Muslim 'criminals' stripped of Dutch citizenship and deported 'back where they came from'. But he has nothing against Muslims. 'I have a problem with Islamic tradition, culture, ideology. Not with Muslim people.'

Could we apply his plan to the United States? Absolutely not. Banning the Koran isn't even something I would support, considering I am currently studying the book myself. Still, Mr. Wilders is showing that you can take on the Religion of Pieces without getting politically neutered. Read the entire piece.
